This is a summary of our new Wednesday Night Classes that will begin Wednesday December 5th, 2018.

Dec 2018 - Feb 2019

Wednesday Bible Classes - 7:00 PM

The Relevance of the Ten Commandments for God’s People in Both the Old and New Testaments

  • Wayne Speegle - Room 402 (New Wing)

The Epic of Eden

A repeat of the class Keith Skinner did last year based on the book The Epic of Eden, but with some additional material that Keith was not able to cover in the first class. This class will use this incredible book to help modern day Christians better understand the Old Testament, its relationship to the New Testament, and God's redemptive covenant with His people.
  • Keith Skinner - Room 401 (New Wing)

Redefined: Finding Your Identity in Christ

We often identify ourselves by superficial things like careers, social status, our families, our appearance, our successes or our failures. Through the cross, we have been redefined—set free from our pasts and called to live for the glory of God. This class will guide you through a journey to examine how God sees you and how He defines your life and your purpose. This study is open to all women and is particularly important for women who are seeking to find their identity as a daughter of God, whether you are a new Christian or if you have been a Christian for some time but still feel like something is missing— you are welcome here. “For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” 2 Corinthians 4:5-7
  • Jennifer Bennett, Emily Dobbs, Catherine Henderson, Jessica Simmons - Room 323

Young Adults and College Age

A class designed to challenge those who are entering a new and exciting phase in their life to live as disciples of Jesus in a world that places too much importance on living for self.
  • Jason Spivey - Room 501 (New Wing)
